Originally it started of as our studio profile. The first issue, The Inaugural was out in November 2024 and the second issue, The Unfolding Issue was the six month update. Both introduced who we are with the Unfolding Issue had the initial blueprint for Madsidian. In a way, you can say that it’s our newsletter, magazine, publication of everything who we are.

Well, it’s a combination of Mad and Obdisidian. Mad in a abbreviation for Manifesto-Archive-Design, since we’ve been preaching a lot about Creative Madness and Obsidian, well, that was random. It has a nice ring to it and the meaning was coincidentally fits us: a beautiful black rock made out of pressue.

Yes, you can download the first two issue - Inaugural and Unfolding. That’s basically our studio profile. The actual Madsidian will be out soon. The plan in to get it out in September, in conjunction with our rebirth that and 1-year anniversary. For now, it’s free for digital and a minimum fee for print. Stay tuned for announcement.
